Hola,

Me voici en Bolivie depuis jeudi 14.00 (heure locale). Mon voyage fût long mais tout s'est bien passé. Je suis très bien installée dans la famille d'accueil. Céleste une américaine volontaire vit aussi dans la maison. J'ai passé mon vendredi dans les locaux de l'organisation pour finaliser quelques papiers administratifs, faire un test psychologique et avoir une présentation de mon travail qui commencera lundi. Dans le Centre Maria Cristina où je vais travailler, je vais m'occuper, entre autres, de personnes autistes, retardées mental, sourdes, trisomiques etc... Pendant ma première semaine de travail je vais voir où se trouvent les besoins en collaboration avec les responsables afin de pouvoir leur donner les dons récoltés grâce à vous. Il semblerait que l'argent servirait pour acheter des habits, matériels pédagogiques et médicaments mais je vous tiendrai au courant. Sinon j'ai pu aussi déjà aller dans le centre de Cochabamba OUHAAA, un autre monde et j'ai eu le grand plaisir de prendre les fameux trufis (bus, voiture de transport local). Il n'y a pas d'horaires, pas d'arrêts de bus, il faut simplement se placer au bord de la route, faire signe au trufi de s'arrêter, monter dedans si possible!!! et crier "ESQUINA POR FAVOR" pour qu'il s'arrête où tu veux sur la route. I am in Bolivia since Thursday 14.00 (local time). My travel was long but everything went well. I am very well installed in my host family which also welcomes Celeste another volunteer from the USA. I spent my Friday in the office of the organisation in order to finalized admin. docs, to do a psychological test and to receive a presentation of my work which will begin on Monday. In the Center Maria Critina where I will work, I will have to work with persons who are: autists, with dow, cerebral paralysis etc.... During my first week of work I will check with the responsible staffs where the needs are in order to give them your donation, but it seems that the money will be used to buy clothes, pedagological materials and medecins. I will keep you in the loop anyway. Otherwise I had the chance to go already down town in Cochabamba OUHAAA, another world and I also had the chance to take the trufis (local transportation like buses). There are no time schedule, no bus stop you just need to stand on the road waving your hands to stop the trufi and get in if possible!!! Then you just have to shout "ESQUINA POR FAVOR" in order to get out wherever you want on the road, really amazing and fun!!! Hasta luego con mas noticias.
